Hind Benbya (Ph.D., M.S.) is Associate Professor of Management Information Systems at GSCM- Montpellier Business School, France. Prior to this she held visiting positions at the UCLA Anderson School of Management and in Grenoble School of Management. Dr. Benbya's research and consulting specializes in supporting the effectiveness of information systems and their evolution over time, with particular emphasis on implementation, alignment, complementary mechanisms and evolution for knowledge management systems.

Her publications on these areas appeared in journals such as Information Technology and People, Communications of the AIS, Journal of Information Technology, International Journal of Information Management and Knowledge and Process Management among others. Her research has been selected as best paper by the Academy of Management and by the International Federation of Information Technologies and Tourism. She has published "Knowledge Management Systems Implementation: Lessons from the Silicon Valley'' and co-edited "Successful OSS Project Design and Implementation: Social Designs, Reward Structures and Coordination Methods".
